Pastor Joshua’s ministry philosophy is centered on the theme of spiritual development. This is attested through the numerous books he has authored. Spirituality based ministry is one that advocates deep internal transformation. Furthermore, spiritual development must engage the depth of one’s inner soul and heart. The problem that many Korean churches face today is not external, but internal and at its roots. On the surface, churches may look appealing and growing but on the inside, they are empty and ill to the roots. To counter this, we must plant Christ as the true root for the church.
